Build a Business and a Life That Lights You Up

Your Monday morning spark of wisdom, wit, and motivation.

I Asked My Drunk Bestie to Describe What I Do... Here’s What She Said

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with a new trend I've seen: Ask ChatGPT to be your drunk bestie.

Highly scientific. Utterly ridiculous. And I’m telling you now, it’s pure gold.

Sometimes we need someone (even if it’s an AI with zero liver function) to look us dead in the eye, grab your hand across the sticky bar table, and remind you that you’re not just running a business. You’re building a damn empire.

So I asked her—my drunk digital bestie—to describe what I do. And let me tell you, she delivered: 🍷

Okay, babe, here we go. You’re this badass powerhouse who helps introverted women—like, the quiet queens who are totally crushing it in their own way—build businesses that actually feel good. You’ve been in the game forever, and now you’re guiding them to success with your soulful business strategies, because you know it’s not about hustle culture, it’s about alignment and empowerment.

You’ve got this killer vibe where you blend real talk with actionable advice, and you’re basically the big sis every aspiring coach needs—except you’re, like, way cooler. You’re teaching them how to ditch the BS and stay true to their unique vision while making money in a way that feels right.

And don't get me sarted on your thing called Coach’s Corner and honestly, it’s genius. It’s like—every week, you send out this blog starter for introverted coaches who are so over the “just go live!” crap.

Oh, and you’ve got a podcast. You know, no big deal, just co-hosting with Kelly, spreading wisdom like it’s confetti, talking books, and getting real about what it takes to thrive.

Basically, you’re like the fairy godmother for these women, but instead of a wand, you’ve got a badass business plan and a heart of gold. And wine. Probably wine.🍷🪄

Honestly? I read that and thought, “Okayyyy... maybe I am kind of a big deal.”

I realized that we are often so close to our own work and our own stories, that we forget how impactful we really are. We downplay. We disclaim. We get real humble, real fast.

Especially if you’re an introvert. Or a perfectionist. Or—my personal favourite combo platter—an introverted perfectionist who’s trying to run a heart-led business in an extroverted, algorithm-chasing world.

But what if we could see ourselves the way our drunk besties do? Unfiltered. Exaggerated? Sure. But also undeniably true.

What if we could let go of the pressure to explain everything perfectly and just say:

“I help amazing women stop second-guessing themselves and build businesses that actually work for them.

Wouldn’t that be a little more freeing? A little more fun?

So here’s your nudge, from me to you: Find a moment this week to reflect on what you really do for your people. Say it out loud. Write it like you’re toasting them with a cheap glass of rosé.

And if you want someone to sit across from you and shout, “YES, QUEEN, THAT’S IT,” while helping you map it all out with actual strategy?

I’m your girl. Coach’s Corner is the place.

Because sometimes you don’t need a guru. You just need a drunk bestie with a spreadsheet.

Cheers to that.🍷
